The photo is of the Light house on Nubble rock off Cape Neddick near the city of York, Maine. It was taken when my good friend Jerry Conner of Londonderry, NH and I return from a camping trip in Arcadia in Maine in the summer of 2008.
The light is one of the most photographed Light houses in the US and has a interesting history that can be read here.
